Italian Government Italy's government has been democratic since June 2nd, 1946 abolishing anarchy. After anarchy was abolished, country decided that the country was everyone's. They now have a president who is elected by law makers. Just like the U.S. they have three branches: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. Italy's government is stable today and has Sergio Mattarella as president.
